We've set the date for the 3rd Providence Drupal Meetup. It'll be on Monday, July 19th at 6:00pm a McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon. We’ll be in their private room; food and drinks will be served. Parking is free on and off street (starts at 5 pm).
Doors open at 6 pm; we ask that you try to arrive by 6:30 pm for networking. The program starts promptly at 7 pm. The program includes introductions, a presentation, and a chance to pick the brains of your fellow attendees.

I updated the site to Drupal 7 Alpha 5 today. While not supported (or likely advised...) I did get it to work pretty easily. All the modules are updated, and we'll take a look at some of the great improvements in D7 while talking about the experience of putting this site together.

We are really excited to announce the talks lined up for the May 17th event @ McFaddens! After a healthy dose of talking Drupal shop, we will have three presenters take the floor for "lightning talks" - short (under 10 minute) talks on a few different Drupal topics. Should be a great night so we hope to see you there! Interested in doing a talk next time around? Propose a Session
